use such as packaging, containing through toys, pipes, cars industry, pharmaceuticals industry, Agriculture, cosmetics, cables …etc. Also, the Rubber products (Butadiene, Low Cis and Solution Styrene Butadiene Synthetic
Rubber); The raw material is the natural gas, rich type.

PLS is a giant leap forward to laying the foundation of infrastructure needed to support the national goal for transforming Egypt into a regional energy hub via the Oil & Gas Hubstrategy of the Ministry of Petroleum extending
to Vision of The Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM) for transforming Egypt into a regional petrochemicals hub.
PLS adopt the ISO framework for management systems of Quality, Environment, Occupational Health & Safety among the applied management systems. The prementioned systems were audited and certified according to standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
The company was established on December 6, 2000 upon approval by the Higher Ministerial Committee for Privatization, under the name of Alexandria Sodium Carbonate Company, which is affiliated to the Holding Company for Chemical Industries (HCCI), an Egyptian joint stock company according to the provisions of the Business Sector Companies Law and its implementing regulation, registered in the Commercial Registry under No. 156484 Alexandria, dated 28th of February, 2001.
On September 25, 2008, 100% of the company's shares were sold as per the privatization program and on September 9, 2008, the Extraordinary General Assembly (EGM) approved the conversion of Alexandria Sodium Carbonate Company from being subject to the provisions of Law No. 203/1991 to an Egyptian joint stock company subject to the provisions of Law No. 159/1981 under the name of Solvay Alexandria Sodium Carbonate Company (an Egyptian joint stock company).
On October 28, 2018, 100% of the company's shares were sold to: 1- The Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM). 2- The Egyptian Ethylene and Derivatives Company (ETHYDCO). 3- Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Company (SIDPEC). And finally the Company’s name has changed to be Petrochemicals Logistic Services “PLS”.
